Overview

What’s the role?

We are expanding our Australian team and seek a motivated and experienced professional to lead our marketing and communications efforts. The Marketing Specialist will have the unique opportunity to serve our marketing efforts across multiple marketing programs and campaigns to promote Vectorworks software to architecture, interiors, landscape, and entertainment design professionals and academic institutions in Australia and New Zealand.

The successful candidate will join an established team in a friendly and supportive working environment. Working out of our Sydney office, with options for a hybrid/WFH arrangement, the Marketing Specialist will report to the International Marketing Manager as part of the International Marketing team spanning several countries, and also work in close collaboration with the Director of Australian & New Zealand Operations and the local sales teams. The Marketing Specialist will support the development and delivery of campaigns that meet organisational objectives, increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and engage with existing customers.

Responsibilities

What will I do?

  • Increase awareness and engagement with our brand and products by implementing targeted campaigns, and act as project manager on a variety of simultaneous marketing programs to ensure quality, cohesive, branded deliverables, and follow through to analyse results and optimise campaigns on a timely basis.
  • Stay current with industry trends by immersing yourself into industry events and publications; understand the wants and needs of our users, prospects, academia, and sales team; initiate and maintain relationships, and act as a working partner for the product marketing team.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry influencers (including beta testers and Vectorworks power users), and industry associations in Australia and New Zealand to identify ongoing opportunities for co-marketing, events, and continuing education catering to our target audiences.
  • Actively seek to learn new methods for marketing lead generation and propose new tactics to marketing leadership.
  • Be a proficient user of our marketing automation platform, who actively seeks ways to optimise our customer's journey, provide better nurtured leads to our sales teams, find process efficiencies, and maintain data quality.
  • Monitor and report on marketing campaigns KPIs on a regular basis, while also providing recommendations for increasing effectiveness of these programs.
  • Collaborate with the events marketing team to develop tradeshow and live event strategy and related marketing to ensure events are on brand, on message, and generate ROI.
  • Attend industry events and conferences as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Support PR initiatives and other misc. campaigns as assigned.
